It's a fair bet that Miramax titles will remain in the domain of Harvey and Bob, but anything picked up for distribution by Buena Vista, or originally financed by Disney/Touchstone/Hollywood is in line for the Vista series treatment.
Both the upcoming "Roger Rabbit" and "Dick Tracy" discs originated with Touchstone, although they at one point were marketed as Disney pictures.
"Tombstone" was a Hollywood release, partnered by Cinergi, the same as on "Evita", which I also hope gets the Vista treatment. In fact, Criterion put out a great laser set (licensed by Buena Vista), so hopefully this will get transferred across as Criterion or Vista.
The Vista series was created so that Disney could put out their own series of Special Special Editions without having to spilt profits with Criterion (think "Armegeddon", "The Rock", etc).
I think they're doing pretty well, but it would also be great to see a Vista edition of "The Rocketeer", another Disney/Touchstone underrated picture that deserves better than the version we have now.
