In brief: this is a thread to discuss the technical and/or thematic merits of
Vertigo.
The purpose being to foster intelligent discussion of films without resorting to "It's a piece of crap." or "It's the greatest film
ever." (And so that I can gain a bit of a film education from you all.)
We'll discuss a new film each week (assuming this actually works). I'll post the film in this forum on Thursday, but please refrain from discussing until Sunday so that everyone can have a chance to watch the film
before the discussion begins.
If you want to make any comments about this idea, that don't directly pertain to this movie, please make them in the thread linked above.
