Last fall, Disney purchased all Saban properties, including PR, when they also purchased Fox Family. 20th Century Fox still owns both movies though.
Lately, it looks as if Disney thinks they can run PR better than MMPR Productions have since 1993. They fired everyone after the latest season finished filming and Village Roadshow / KP Productions took over. Filming begins this month in New Zealand. Disney supposedly plans to make it a teen action drama rather than just a kids action show. The new season begins in February on ABC & ABC Family.
