That game was sprinkled with original Nintendo goodness. So many genuine gameplay surprises, the unique Super FX chip effects, the art design... and sadly overlooked by gamers who flocked to the less in depth eyecandy of DKC 2 released around the same time.

I bought that game the day it came out, and regretted every moment of it. When I had it finished it the next day I sold it to a friend at work for his 5 year old, and I think it found the right age group...god I hated that game. It had some cool effects, and great graphics but it was too childish for my liking. Each to their own I guess.
No offence but that is the worst Mario game, next was Super Mario Bros 2, that game is so un-mario it sucked (I did however play it enough to master it, and bought it for GBA, so I guess it is a good game, just not a good
