Well, depending on how much 4x2 material you watch, that Tv could be great.
The picture on it is great and the speakers aren't an issue if you have it hooked up to a HT setup.
It's HD capable and has the 16x9 squish mode for anamorphic DVDs.
You can't really get any bigger sized direct view sets and any that are widescreen aren't any bigger picture wise in LBX format.
Pretty much the only way to go bigger is with a rear projection set.
So, again depending on how much 4x3 you watch, it can be a great compromise during this transition period.
