i recently became very interested in getting a player such as this. i personally would love to replace all my VHS tapes with DVDs and be able to record stuff off TV on DVD instead of VHS. any reasonable priced Recorders out there. I know that Panasonic has a bunch and that Philips has a few. i really wanna get one bad but is it worth it? i see so many at $500+ price range. then ill bet that it drops big time in about a year. it will become a very reasonable price soon in my opinion.
hell look what happened to CD burners! when they first came out they were like $300. now u can get a decent one for $50. should i hold out? anyone have a Recorder? How are they?
