I just got Heroes of Might and Magic IV as an early Christmas present to myself. Even if you've played Heroes I, II, and III, there's still a pretty steep learning curve--it comes with a 120-page manual that you've pretty much got to read before you can play, because a lot of rules have been changed and added since Heroes III. Some of the 40+ scenarios apparently take about ten hours each. Now that's hardcore gaming.
