In my opinion, the theatrical version is far superior to the Director's Cut both as a film and a DVD. The Anchor Bay edition of the theatrical cut comes with the making of featurette and the original ending while the Director's Cut no making of, JUST the original ending (worse than the supermarket version IMHO), and a commentary.
