I haven't seen the demo yet, but I can tell you that I wouldn't buy it.

It's on TAPE. I mean, yes, magnetic tape has improved in quality (I assume) since the 80's, but it's still on tape. It's magnetically recorded and we live on a giant magnetic ball.

It's slowly deteriorating in quality from the second it's made.

It's the same reason why I didn't get into buying original VHS tapes (I usually just taped things off of cable), but am more than willing to buy original DVDs since they are more-or-less permanent.

I am, however, anxiously await HD-DVD.
