One movie to watch at the boss' house?

OK, so we won a charity raffle yesterday to see a movie at the company VP's house on his kick-ass home theater system. We get to pick ONE movie to watch with three other couples (including the veep and his wife).

We do have our own low-end DD 5.1 setup at home, but this, we're assured, will be movie theater quality. Plus, it's the veep's house!

Naturally, the movie should have a 5.1 soundtrack, which eliminates most older films that haven't been remastered. It should be a crowd pleaser. And it has to be a movie we haven't already seen a cajillion times.

I've been scanning and searching these threads, scouring our personal collection, and reading the IMDb top movie lists. Here's our short list:

The Perfect Storm - top contender

Alien - top contender

Three Kings - top contender; saw it at a discount theater, but not with optimal sound or picture

Cabaret - great musical, never saw it in theaters

The Matrix - already watched it a cajillion times, including twice in theaters

X-Men - saw it in theaters recently

Brazil - missed it in theaters; long

Goodfellas - DVD and laser are both "flippers"; long and violent

Lone Star - missed it in theaters; a bit slow-paced and won't make ideal use of the sound system

L.A. Confidential - already seen it a cajillion times, including twice in the theater

La Femme Nikita - never saw in theaters; will have to go to the laserdisc (assuming our veep has a player), since the DVD's subtitles reportedly suck.

Any suggestions? What movies would YOU see if you had such a chance? (And for those of you with theater quality sound and picture in your living rooms, pretend for a second that you don't.)
