I'm also worried about the discs supposedly getting lost along the way and me being screwed.

If the discs are defective, then they should just send us the corrected discs. Their mistrust of the fans is ridiculous and insulting.

I called the 800 # for the X-Files disc replacement, and they put my name and address info on a list, and said that as soon as the replacement disc is available (sometime in April, they think), they will mail me the disc. I will not be required to send them the defective one. It's just junk anyways to them. They'd just have to throw it away.

But, at least this way, I have the original BTTF discs as a gift already for a friend or family member sitting here. Saves me the time of buying one later.

I'll just buy the corrected set when I see it out.
