I've become pretty selctive in the DVD's I buy.
The last couple years, I've been collecting my favorites (and new releases) when I got a deal I could live with, and as of now (only 80 DVD's) I have most of the ones I really want.
There's only a handful of DVD's I still feel I NEED, and I'm patient for a good deal.
It's not like I have a lot of time to watch them anyway.
I won't buy barebones DVD's as a rule, and even if it's on a deal, I ask myself and my wife, "Do we REALLY want this in our collection, taking up space?"
I wonder if my approach would change if we had a good place to store 200+ DVD's....
all that space, beckoning to be filled up must be awfully inviting, and all the justification many people may need to go buy anything remotely worth owning.
