heuresk, do you know if the Phillips can disable macrovision? I recently got a Norcent DP1800. I didn't even intend it to be a region-free player, but I did research and turns out it is. The PAL/NTSC conversion is okay, nothing great. Way better than my old APEX 600A. But the 600A does disable macrovision, the Norcent does not. But I do want to get one that the ability to disable macrovision. Anyone know any region-free models that do this?
