Wow, why the hate? It could just be that you're judging her by MEAN GIRLS, in which -- as you suggest -- even I wasn't especially smitten at first glance. But if you've seen her screwball comic genius in HOT CHICK and her truly likeable and genuinely romantic, Classic Hollywood-worthy turn in THE NOTEBOOK, you might see more of what I'm talking about. She has genuine screen presence and a gravitas missing in many current starlets. And I thought this was one Canadian of whom you should be genuinely proud.
