no, its a audigy 4 pro, which is the first creative card to have an analog stage rivaling pro cards. I don't like creative, no, (how can you like a company that doesn't even put drivers on their website?) but in this case they put out a card that rivals the pro cards while still being a good gaming card.

the setup i have on the pc is 4.0 and doesn't have a dd/dts a/v receiver etc, which wouldn't fit well in a computer room. Though the two sound relatively similar for gaming, physically they are very different. There is no way I could use a center channel with a PC, a sub would take up too much room, and surround speakers are already in an impractical place. So surround is best left to the home theater/TV room where you can hook up your consoles.
