Ok, I watched the end credits on The Incredibles on my Pioneer DV-656a and the image was flawless. I then watched it on my Pioneer DVL-919 and DID see some artifacting during some of the "lightning" images.

The Pioneer DV-656a is a progressive scan DVD player in "Auto" mode, which means it will output a progressive signal when anamorphic material is detected. This player is connected to my Toshiba 57HX81 via component video connections.

The Pioneer DVL-919 is an interlaced only DVD/LD player with an S-Video connection to the Toshiba HDTV.

It could be an issue with that particular copy of "The Incredibles" you have and if you sent me your copy, I could take it for a test spin and send it right back. You make the call.

Peace...
