In the case of DVD sales, it's clear to me sales maintained an unprecedented growth trend that has caused industry insiders to take note of the growth numbers slowly shrinking. Previously, this would be no big deal since an initial interest spike would be expected. In this case, no one would have predicted the
explosion that actually took place, hence the article above.
In reality, I agree with you that the market is simply maturing.
