Legally Blonde & Save the Last Dance were on the amazon internal list for banned movies from conservative countries/Singapore. Both seem harmless to me but I have not seen either movie so I can only guess at the reasoning. As for the interacial basis of STLD Singapore promotes itself as a melting pot of culture so I don't beleive thats why. But if I remember the TV spots maybe it has something to do with teen pregnancy or violence. There are links on my site to the Media Development Authority of Singapore's website. They explain why there must be censorship.
I've updated most of the titles found in the Singapore Banned Database
1200+ movies
