This wasn't any real shocking news, as there had been rumors of a younger actor as Bond coming soon. But Brosnan has been my favorite Bond, even surpassing Connery in my view.
Clive Owen has been the most popular choice as the successor. Some other rumors are Daniel Craig, who has received critical acclaim for his role in Layer Cake, which comes out on DVD next week.
My personal choice I would like to see as Bond is Christian Bale.
