I have no problems with the mini-series except the guy playing Flagg sucks and the effects (especially "The Hand of God" are bad).
Keep in mind too that the teleplay was written by King himself, so shortcuts, removals, additions, etc. were all done by King.
That doesn't mean that people should like them, but it at least validates them some.
