Well, if I understand it correctly, she would have had to be completely nude to have followed the comics and it sounds like she would have been willing to go topless and that's about it.
I'm saying you're assuming and speculating since you haven't provided any evidence supporting your assertion. My assertion is we can't draw any conclusions either way in this case since we don't have enough info. Piratehunter has provided a ton and it sounds like you don't trust her in the first article piratehunter linked to.
