We should also keep in mind though, that a lot of the time things like this is not up to the writer. Even if the shower scene from your example is left in the script, there's no telling if the director will choose to go with a wide shot and full frontal nudity, or if he'll place the camera low to the ground, only showing naked ankles stepping out of a steaming shower stall.
Unless, of course, the writer choose to specify the scene in great detail with rivulets of water streaming over the erect nipples and what-not. But even then the director may choose to ignore that part and go with the ankle version of the shot.
My point in all this is that I think the writer should be left out of it. He'll write the story to the best of his ability, but exactly what visuals ends up on screen will in the end be up to the director.

I don’t really disagree, but I still think a good writer should be mindful of what he/she is writing. If they feel they need to add some graphic sex to the script, then by all means, but I don’t think it should be added for the sake of having graphic sex.
