Picked it up today. Yes, the transfer is anamorphic (from the back of the box), and it looks pretty spiffy.

The commentary by Bluth & Goldman is informative, if a bit dry.

I haven't delved into any of the other goodies yet, but there was a free ticket to Ice Age 2 inside, so I'm happy with the purchase.
