possible Revenge of the Sith glitch

I ran across a strange type of glitch while watching my Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith DVD last night. It's a very minor issue, and isn't serious enough to consider exchanging the disc, but it's an issue I never ran across before, and I'm wondering if it might be an authoring issue, or if it was just a weird glitch on my disc.

This is the movie disc, and when I play through it, it works fine, no problems at all.

But when I wanted to jump to chapter 3, which is the opening scene after the title credit scroll, my player wouldn't let me do it. I tried to go through the Scene Selection menu, select chapter 3, and it wouldn't work. I could go to Chapter 2 or Chapter 4 fine. But if I started at chapter 2 and tried to skip forward to chapter 3, the screen would just freeze where it was at. If it was in the middle of chapter 3 and I try to skip back to the beginning of chapter 3, the screen would just freeze where it was currently at, the timer would jump back to the right time index, but the screen would just remain frozen like a freeze frame.

It's not a major issue, as I said, the movie does play perfectly fine with no glitches. But this inability to do a chapter skip is the first time I've ever run across this type of malfunction, and it doesn't seem to me to be a disc issue.

When anyone has time, could you check your Revenge of the Sith discs for me and see if you can start the movie from chapter 3 in your Scene Selection menus?

I thought I had run across every type of DVD glitch in the 8 years I've been collecting them, but this is a new one to me.
