Well there is a reason why most of them are set-up for mostly a medium size screen theater (seating wise) and that is because of the seating capacity itself. Now take for example Monster House 3D which is out right now and requires DLP to be shown. Sure a big house would be great for the film when its first release but if you only have one DLP theater screen then your kind of screwed for later on when the film starts to lose its audience. That big house could be used for a newer released movie like Talladega Nights which could easily sell out the theater, but if Monster House 3D is still there you wont sell out the theater so you lose money there and with Talladega Nights not being able to play in the big theater its placed in another slightly smaller theater. It will probably sell out and force the theater to turn away other potential viewers as well. So a theater could take a big hit with keeping a DLP in a big screen theater.

Also you guys have different size theater screens for different size theaters? Must suck because Famous Players is all about same size screen in all theaters (well except for the newer side that was added a few years ago but all 4 are the same size screen. From 159 seats to 366 in the other)
