I have a Sony ES receiver, I think it "might" do the 5.1 analog input (i haven't look in the back and haven't check the manual). I bought it 3 years ago so it's been a while since i got it setup. I doubt the PS3 will have a decoder that let me output 5.1 analog to the receiver.
