Lucky # Slevin (HD-DVD)
Video: 8/10
I’m going to slightly disagree with dkny75 on this one. The transfer is good, but it’s not on par with the other titles in Weinstein’s second wave. A good bit of the film looks like a high-bitrate SD-DVD. There are some stunning scenes, but they’re few and far between. After watching "The Matador" and "Clerks II," I was just expecting more.
Audio (DD+): 9/10
I guess we're just not gonna agree on this title, dkny75. I thought the audio was just fine. Nice surround activity, clear dialogue and good LFE. However, it would have been nice to have a TrueHD track. Other than that, my only issue was the low mastering, which meant I had to crank it up to 11.
P.S. I love Lucy Liu in this film!
