So far it has not disappointed...I've had it for about two weeks now and have finally had a chance to really tweak it to my liking and get the tuning dialed in...I was demo-ing some scenes earlier (

LOTR:FOTR...the usual) and the PB12-Plus is so much better than the old JBL PB-10 that I replaced. It's unfair to even try to compare.
I really do think that there was either something wrong with the sub that you received or you were sitting smack dab in the middle of a room null or something...hopefully your next sub will satisfy you as much as the SVS satisfies me.
Next along the upgrade path is probably a larger display, maybe something along the lines of a 61" DLP or similar...I'd like to explore the projector option but with this being a family room/theater I'm just not sure that a front projector would be practical...perhaps if I ever have a dedicated room.
I've also been contemplating upgrading the mains/center/surrounds...I've got an Axiom Audio package in mind that just might work out if I can figure out how to arrange the front stage.
