I’m judging the film by the film. I was just saying that you couldn’t blame a bad film on the audience. For example, you can’t blame the audience for
Batman and Robin.

They could argue that, but they’d be wrong. I understood exactly what Lee was doing, I just didn’t like it. I have no issue with a filmmaker presenting their vision of a character, but not at the expense of the character.
