I'm aware of the underscan issue you bring up (regarding the 970) and it HAS been fixed, as confirmed by myself & also directly from the words of OPPO Digtial. Also, I have used the 980H now on several displays, incl. a 42" Panasonic Plasma (768p) & also a 47" Vizio LCD (1080p). Works great !
