Could you go into a bit more detail about the PCM track? In terms of clarity and range?
I recently dug up my HK/R3 Columbia Tri-Star DVD of the film and was surprised at how "muffled" the DTS track sounds. It's like a veil is over the speakers. The Dolby track exhibits this too. I wondered why it sounded bad, thinking it was my set-up, so I popped in
Sin City and its DTS track is like night and day in comparison. I guess it's my new amp revealing the limitations of the audio that I never quite heard before. So I was just curious as to how the PCM on the BD fares in this regard? It could truly be amazing sounding if this veil was lifted.
