Build it yourself...
If you must place the set on the dresser for now, which is okay, how about building a little raised platform for it that will sit on top of the dresser and provide space underneath for components and speaker?
You need a little bit of carpentry talent but not much, and it can be out of the inexpensive type pressed-board stuff that you can just paint black. You have to have either a bottom platform too, or a back slat to keep the sides from tilting and wobbling. Cushion the bottom somehow to avoid scratching the dresser top, like cut pieces of rag and glued on, etc, and that's it. Then the sock drawer can be happy again placed where it should be rather than sitting on a coffee table or whatever.
