Hello, stupid question.. maybe..

I bought the Onkyo 604 HDMI receiver 3 or 4 months back & there is nothing in the manual about what resolution it can output. The only thing it shows is HDMI v1.1

I looked up HDMI in general at wikipedia & according to their info, 1.1 passes resolution up to 1080p

So my question is, should I be able to change the resolution on my HD DVD & PS3 player to 1080p?
