Realistic darkness is what I get from Nolan's BB. Burton's first was cool because it finally brought 'some' of what I like about Bats to the big screen. It 'was' awesome, and now I feel it pails in comparison to the awesomeness of BB even if BB was a bit slow in the begining (yes, I admit that).
TDK will in my humble opinion further the darkness I want from a Bats film and I can only pray that Nolan will be around for #3.
Ledger will get an Oscar for his performance, I can almost gaurantee it.
