sub780lime: i actually had it pointing that way in the old place, to a chimney. i don't think the wall behind is concrete, so we'll see... but i did change the position of the sub and i'll let you know how that goes.
i'm gonna try cleaning up the wiring, but some of that is from the previous owners satellite and wiring for speakers upstairs... i should just get rid of that stuff... i'll also try bi-wiring/amping the fronts...
em3: nothing like that... most of it is electronic, including entire LABEL catalogues! rock: nine inch nails, the sounds, mogwai, kings of convenience, the arcade fire... that sorta thing...
