) frequently bitch about superhero movies shot in the misty forests of Montreal, personally, if there were to be a titanic battle between two superpowered demigods, that's
exactly where I'd want it to take place, not in the middle of a bustling Metropolis or Gotham where the potential for collateral damage would be catastrophic.
But, that said, one always has to give a certain amount of leeway to this sort of thing. I'm sure if Supes were battling a super-baddie in the middle of Metropolis, he'd do his best to move the action to an area with the fewest number of potential civilian casualties.
