Better off just attaching a 1-terrabyte external eSata drive to your current Scientific Atlanta HD DVR box (assuming that is the cableco box you use, cuz all the scientific atlantas have eSata ports) or computer if you plan to use it as a media server. Would cost you less then $400 altogther:
