I think this show has gotten better. Unfortunately, Chloe remains unlucky in love, but some of that is her own fault. But really, why wouldn't someone want to be with her, no matter what kind of secret she has? At any rate, I have liked how they added Jimmy to the cast, but I do miss Martha Kent.
Supergirl has been a weird addition. She does a good job, though initially I thought her face looked a little weird. But she's hot, so it's working out. The real surprise has been the shift in the Lana Lang character. It was obvious to me that she didn't die at the end of season 6, but the way she is now a sinister character makes her role more rich. She's not the fluffy, boring character of previous seasons (though you caught a hint of her double-sidedness in Season 6). Really, having her as a vengeful ex-spouse of Lex has made me appreciate her a lot more.
The new editor guy seems to be a weird addition as well. He's familiar from the brief series "Hidden Palms" and I'm interested to see what his role is in this. So overall, I am enjoying Season 7 a lot.
