After going one setting at a time, I finally found that judder problem in the Rock band game. It is the CineMotion feature. I turned it off and game worked perfectly. I also went to the scene at the beginning of the movie Layer Cake where it is scrolling past all the FCUK cocaine bottles and I noticed when Cinemotion was turned on the bottles had the judder problem as well. I've noticed many having issues with CineMotion, especially with 1080p30 content. I haven't been able to reproduce any of them yet, though.
That being said, despite Sony's recommendation to use this with film, I can't see much of a difference with it on or off. I might just end up leaving it off too despite what it is supposed to do.
