360's DVDROM drive is over twice as fast as the PS3's BD drive, so it doesn't need to be installed to the HD. And of course, 360's with HDs have the benefit of a 2GB HD cache.

Lets not lump PS3's slow disc performance with 360's - 360 loads speedily off disc.
