I have the Vizio VX42 1080p HDTV that I bought in Sept. and I love it. Very bright and sharp colors. I have family that have a Sony Bravia and a Samsung, and to tell you the truth; those are way over-rated and over-priced. I love watching HD football games on it. I dont have an HD-DVD or Blu-ray player, but I do have a Philips DVD upconverter/5.1 surround player, and watching Transformers, and Spiderman 3 on it was great! Though I'd like to eventually get HD-DVD, or Blu-ray; Im gonna wait till the war is over to decide.

Anyway I recommend Vizio!
