Ok i tried the direct connection to my HDTV and sure enough NOTHING. I put in a disc and got nothing and i tried the setup menu and nothing. So here i am with a dead HDMI port or so i thought. After getting nothing on screen i just took the remote and slid my fingers pressing down on all of them buttons and after my 2nd or 3rd time going up and down the remote the setup menu appeared. Which ever combo or single button did it i don't know, but it appears to be working again.
Could one button on the remote really do that to me or do you think there is still some concern over the player.
