yeah, look for a button on the remote that is labled video, IIRC. That will switch the output from component to HDMI.
Sad thing is, I found that non anamorphic DVDs out of my HD-D1 have to be sent out at 480P, or I can't strech the image on my Mitsubishi.
I was watching The Abyss ( which the box clams is enhanced for Wide Screen TVs
) so, I spent several minutes switching the resolution and turning off the scaler in my receiver.
