If you get a video card that can output 1920x1080 at 24hz over HDMI, sure. AND of course, if the TV actually DISPLAYS 24hz and not just syncs with a 24hz signal, upconverting it to 60hz for DISPLAY. For the record I haven't heard of any TVs that actually DISPLAY at 24hz; I've heard of 60hz, 72hz, 96hz, 120hz - but never 24hz (probably due to possible flicker that could occur under 60hz). I'm not sure you will find this out from Mitsu or anyone else easily either. My guess is that it probably syncs at 24hz and internally converts it to 60hz, so the likely answer is no.

But, for the longshot that it does display at 24hz, from what I've read the new Nvidia 8600GT/8800GT/8800GTS 512mb cards can output at 24hz, and they have full VC-1/AVC/MPEG2 hardware assist too (my older 8800GTS 640mb only has partial assist). The new ATI cards might be able to do it, but I think only by forcing it via PowerStrip or some other "hack."
