You can get the Samsung LN-T4665F for 1499 online and though it only has two HDMI's. I would just suggest an HDMI switch for 30 bucks online and save the money on the price difference for a 3 input TV.
My choice would be the Toshiba 42LZ196. Its 42" (what you are looking for), has 2 HDMI inputs (switcher again), and is Full 1080p. You can get it for $1499 (probably in some stores too).
Best I can do since most the TV's I would chose have been spoken for.
