I just grabbed two 3 foot Acoustic Research Master Series S-Video cables from
Ollie's Bargain Outlet for $7.99 each. I see a couple websites have them quite cheap, but for $8 w/ tax straight up out the door doesn't seem bad at all.
They had a bunch, but they only had 3ft S-Video. Maybe other Ollies will have a better selection...
