What good will marketing do with no content to back it up? 2 studios (1 of which underproduces) = fail.
And going by the press release, it looks like they are focusing more on the upconverting abilities of these players as opposed to their ability to play HD DVDs.
I say its a way to move players, but even if they move players I don't see how that is going to change public perception.
