This is not a sales pitch!

I'm not sure if this will fly here but here goes. I recently replaced my HTiB Onkyo speakers with a Klipsch RB 61 system and SVS Sub. Now what do I do with the old speakers if I can't sell them locally? They work fine I just outgrew them. I thought about giving them to my father but his room is too small for them but they would sound damn fine in his room. Should I just put them in an already cramped closet or just pitch them out. I have been asking $250 (in a local trade and sell paper) for them is this too high of a price? I would put them on Craoglist but there is no way I can ship them due to weight plus I've never listed anything on there.

Thoughts or suggestions welcome.
