I usually play on my 92" projection setup (720p). When I go to my smaller 46" set downstairs, things are noticably harder to see (like other players in RB6 vegas).
Whenever you blow anything up the image will be softer, but my experience is that you see more details (good and bad) at higher resolutions.
It's true that with a PC you can run higher quality video... of course, I didn't pay 300 bucks for my PC either
