The BD50 is apparently going to use the same upscaling as the BD30. In fact I've heard in many areas the BD50 is virtually identical to the BD30, with the exceptions of the LFE fix, audio codec decoding features, analog outs, and BD2.0 features.

Okay (deep breath) so now that I have the 30 coupled to a receiver that doesn’t have the new decoders and Panasonic decides to launch the 50 as soon as I hook up the 30,(pause) the question becomes do I return the 30 to get the benefits of the 50. Keep in mind that my gear isn’t bottom end stuff.

Is there really that much of an audio difference in all these new sound formats.

Man I hate this new audio crap. Why oh why can't they just pick one.

So keep or return?
